^I completely agree. In my opinion, the best part of the whole opening was that Carnaval scene, with the colourful costumes and dancing. The rest seemed a bit...well, dull. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best either. So far, my favourite opening was the Beijing one, actually.

During the delegations parade, I spent a lot of time searching up names of countries on Wiki, honestly. Mostly just to check their location on the map.

I hated the 2004 Athens Olympics for the simple fact that they were a complete drain on money Greece didn't have that gave us absolutely no gain. Meh. Panem et circenses.
