Or, even try out your girlfriend's interests and see if you like them as well. Let's say she likes cooking shows. Watching an episode or two of a cooking show together doesn't sound that bad, and could even introduce you to recipes that you may later want to try cooking yourself.

And sure, you probably won't like all of her interests. But, it's best to keep an open mind and try new things. Plus, it's a lot more fun when she feels like she can talk about and engage in her interests with you, and then you can turn around and do the same.

There will be things you like and your partner likes and things you both share in common. That makes a healthy relationship IMO =) Always nice to have some things in common, but I kind of like having my own interests too. My partner loves 40K (Warhammer) and Airsoft... I don't. I like horse riding and Walking dead... He doesn't. But we both love alot of the same TV shows, games and our ideas on nights out/ family days out are pretty similar too =3 But it's nice having differences too. I've never had the interest to play Warhammer and he hasn't ever had the interest to ride a horse xD But it's fine by me.

Lovely day out today at the wildbird sanctuary <3 They even have a little railway there now which was awesome fun! So lovely taking your own child to places you went as a child. It's very special, I can't really describe it =)

^ Pretty much this. Me and my partner share quite a lot of interests like gaming, TWD, GOT, Supernatural and Pokemon to name a few. But I'm a bigger Disney fan than him and he likes Doc Who and F1 which doesn't interest me that much. I think it's healthy to share a few likes and to have a few of your own too :).

This weekend has been AMAZING!! But it's gone way too quickly. Managed to see almost all of my friends who were going to Expo and made some new ones too. It was lovely hanging around in gardens too with a big group of Pokemon Go people and a cheeky Nandos put an end to a perfect weekend. Miss all my Expo brothers and sisters already :chuckle:.

This. I honestly think that people who are either the same or simply very similar won't get along as well as those who have different personal interests. :?

Time to start lesson planning. Actually, I think I'll work on my toolbox project first. :P

Never meant to imply that both partners should share all of the same interests. Just that, there are hopefully some the other partner can get into. It's a lot more fun to share than to feel divided because both partners share few, if any, interests. Like I said, it is best to keep an open mind and try and see if any of your partner's interests can become yours as well. Obviously, there will be a few outliers in which that can't/doesn't happen.

Finding a good balance is key. You will hopefully have things you can look forward to doing while spending time with your partner, and things you can look forward to doing by yourself. That way, neither feels worse than the other.

I'm forever single because no one can match up to my high standards (I know it sounds incredibly crap when I say it like that but I'm not interested in a mediocre life with someone I'm not happy being with is what I meant, I'd rather wait for something brilliant than have something less right now).

But to me it really doesn't matter, I mean you could like all the same stuff as me if you want but if you're a terrible person then I still won't want to talk about any of it with you. As much as I'd love to be with a gal who has a giant metal replica keyblade like I do, I'd sooner go out with someone who is beautiful and takes care of theirselves, is smart, fun to talk to and can be an interesting conversationalist. Because without those things we won't even make it to the learning about each other's hobbies and interests stage, I would have already stopped talking to them by that point. I pick up on personality and then I'll talk to someone about their opinions on video games and politics, because if you're a terrible person then I don't really care what your opinions or hobbies are anyway...

There aren't many people like me out there let alone limiting it to girls. I am a skydiving, marathon running, world travelling, multiple job working, gaming, cycling, shooting, working out, Disney loving dude who loves his life and expects the people in it to be just as high quality as the rest of it... I'm not even kidding, I've literally had relationships or dating that has failed because the girl has said "I wish I could be more like you." or "Wow what did I do to deserve you?!" anything along those lines is a major turn off for me, I want someone who is confident in their own self and feels like they are my equal and worthy of my time.
I've said it before, loneliness is something that someone like me has to get accustomed to, because lots of people out there just aren't as enthusiastic about life, it's actually quite isolating at times. But I wouldn't change any of it :)

Anyway that was long and boring. Hey everyone, how are you doing?! :)
I only ask because I haven't been posting on here the past few days. There's a few reasons for that but my fingers are actually starting to cramp now so I'm going to stop typing for now :)

I completely agree. You've said it all! :highfive:

So Niantic's "solution" to the three-step glitch was to get rid of the steps altogether? Yeah ... that's not going to make Pokemon impossible to track at all ...
