I'm doing all of those. As well as losing my mind playing games in VR (seriously it's incredible) and when not doing all that I'm traveling and planning my next trip. That's my excuse for inactivity and I'm sticking to it.

I still log on daily and post around but it's usually at around midnight for a few posts before bed and make sure everyone here is doing alright and everyone's happy and stuff :)

I can understand working and pokemon. Here, the heat and humidity is so intense that it's stupid to stay outside mid-day during the summer for too long. Not even joking, heat strokes are a serious issue here.

The tradeoff for the 'might honestly kill you' heat is that we have 80 degree novembers and it is 70 in december! Snow? What's that?
Why do we fall? So that we can learn to pick ourselves back up again.

Right? Did you see that picture someone posted in the Disney group we are both in of the magic kingdom where the park was pretty much empty even though it's a clear blue sunny day? It was amazing to me that it actually gets that hot out there to the point where it actually starts getting genuinely dangerous to be out in it for too long.

Because it's hot here in the UK at the moment in Brighton with record breaking July temps but even then it's still pleasent enough to go out and enjoy. As long as you wear sun cream and stuff then it's still enjoyable.
But it's just so sticky and disgusting around and everyone stinks lol. I prefer Winter. I used to really like Summer but in recent years Summers have been very short here but while they do last they are very hot. And I don't really like that, it's much easier to warm yourself up in winter but in the summer there's just no getting away from the heat!

Nope, must have missed that post.

Another tradeoff is that winter/spring months don't go below 50/60 degrees very often.

Oh yay. More developments in my moving saga that are making me more stressed, though admittedly I understand why things are happening the way they are. They just make sense. Still sucks, though. My family is now going to try to get the house on the market as soon as possible. This will require a lot of renovations over the next few months, such as replacing all the floors and carpets, and repainting several rooms. The realtor my mom talked to doesn't want us waiting too long before putting the house on the market. Then they want to get the house sold as soon as possible and haul off to Iowa City, where we'd probably be staying in a rented house for a while while we looked for a house to buy. So more changes, and all coming incredibly fast too. Yay.........

"We need more people like you."

That's seriously, without a doubt, the nicest thing anyone I've ever met irl has said to me and actually meant. I don't get why people think Gail is so scary and mean. She's great at her job, and she says what she thinks, and despite supposedly being horrible to new people all the time, I've never seen her be remotely unpleasant to anyone who didn't have it coming and she's been very friendly towards me. It really grinds my gears that the fraudulent newb is trying to get her in trouble. Seriously, claiming you were harassed because she looked at you is just too much. Especially since you're only mad at her because she voices what everyone knows, that you faked your "injury" right after getting hired. I've been doing your job all week while you walk around fine and dandy, obviously not hurt, looking at me with those guilty eyes...

I seriously hope that horrid person does indeed get fired as the rumors say she will.

My co-workers are amazing. Almost all of them who were at the gathering last night apologized for any trouble I might have gotten into with my dad because I'm one of the nicest people they've met and they like having me go to the gatherings. They even offered to do things closer and take me home within five seconds if need be. They are all amazing. It's too bad that by the end of August I won't see many of them anymore. :/
