Not that it makes much of a difference to me, since I downloaded an APK version of the app a long time ago But now I'll have to test to see whether deleting the APK and downloading the official app will delete all of my Pokemon that I've already caught. I now know that the way to prove to my baby neice (Shadowfax's little girl) that I'm a friend and not a big scary monster, when she hasn't seen me for a while, is to show her a photo of me and her.
