Tried putting olive oil in your ear to see if it clear? If it's wax and you do this it'll clear up. Sounds strange but it works

I did read something like that on the internet but wasn't sure if it would work. I could try it though, yes, as I'm terribly shy and would love to avoid a doctor visit if I can.

If it doesn't work though I think I'm gonna call it quits on finding a solution by myself, because I definitely do not want to somehow manage to damage my hearing if it's something that genuinely needs a doctor to be treated.

Back in April/May I went to a pool and got my ear plugged up really bad and I could barely hear out of it. I tried basically all the Internet solutions that I could find and nothing worked.

I was considering going to a doctor about it but it ended up clearing itself out on its own and I'm not having issues with it now. I guess sometimes it's just a matter of time.

That did take like... three weeks though and it was a pain in the @$$ during that time so I'd still recommend a doctor lol but yeah I wouldn't worry too much about it, hopefully it'll get better on its own.

In the meantime I guess just try sleeping on that side and see if it'll clear out. You can also try adding alcohol + vinegar solution if it's maybe earwax. Aha.

That happened to me too about 4 odd years ago - got sore ears from my near constant state of being in the swimming pool of the house we were staying in in France It hurt a lot to swallow for a while and I couldn't hear well out of the affected ear. It did go away on its own after a few days, though

Meep! Sounds painful guys! Fortunately I've not had anything like that. Just deafness. .

Kops- Yeh if it's not painful then I'd say try olive oil for a few days. Then if it doesn't clear then maybe get it checked
