Wow. I really can't rely on anyone, can I? I'm down to one more person. If she says no, I'll have to hope my dad will take me, otherwise I'm missing work and a meeting, which won't be good.

That must have sounded strange to him. "Oh yeah, I'm doing better, but can you take me to work? I don't think riding my bike will be good." :P

I don't particularly like it either to be honest. What's funny is that people ask if I've seen it and when I say yes they start asking things like "Who is your favourite?" and I'm like "Errr no one, I said I've watched it, I didn't say I liked it."
To be honest high fantasy isn't really my kind of thing. Swords, dragons, elves, orcs, magic, thrones, kings and queens. It all just puts me to sleep really.
The closest I get to that stuff is Elder Scrolls games.

And I'm thinking today's going to be tough. 13 years ago my dad passed away. It never gets any easier.

I can relate to that. I like the fantasy genre, but not enough to love GoT as many people do. I do find the show good regardless, but, since its genre doesn't draw me in, it's not the best for me.

Also, I hope you're okay. Days like that must be tough, I can't bear the thought I may go through such a thing someday. :hug2:

Why am I being messaged on Skype when I'm set to "Not Available"? I'm not in the mood to talk to this dude, tbh, so I'm not gonna answer. He's always acting way too familiar with me and it's creepy and straining to talk to him and skype is either telling him I'm online when it oughtn't or he's being even creepier and messaging me while I'm set as offline as if we're bffs....

I've contemplated it before, maybe I'll just make a new skype account to avoid the dude. I really have no patience for this.

I hate to be a nitpick but got / a song of ice and fire is low fantasy.

I have no interest in it. Saw part of an ep and while well written and acted it was much too dark for me.

That doesn't mean I have ever liked doing it. Or felt good about doing it.

I apologize, I really should just keep my big fat mouth shut sometimes...

I love GoT / ASoI&F, and I'd say it was a lot more accesible to non fantasy fans than say Lord of the Rings. I would describe it more as medieval politics with fantasy elements. That said, I can fully see how it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea.

I would say it's worth sticking with though. The recent season 6 has been the best yet, especially the last two episodes.
