Moving

Ok, so I guess the whole "might be moving" thing has turned into "moving". Yup! I will most likely be moving to Canada 100% now.

How I know? Well, my Dad has me sorting out tons of boxes of what I will keep and what I will not keep O_o

I don't know how to feel right now... Anyone got any advice to give me?

Aww, Linda. I'm sure everything will be fine. ^^ *hugs tight* I moved before. It took me a bit to make new friends, but since I know you are so confident I am sure you will be fine. ^^ It's hard adapting to a new place. I hope you feel right at home after a few days after you get there. *huggles* I'm sorry though I know you really love where you live. Are you going to get to bring Buffy?

Hmm, moving to another country is a pretty big thing, I cannot say anything from personal experience.
But it will probably take some time to get used to everything. Make new friends when you arrive, nothing will help you more than being able to rely on the assistance of your friends when you need it, and it will make Canada feel like home.

Do you have any idea of exactly when you will be moving?

I'd say it's going to be a total culture shock perhaps, but knowing you and where you came from, I don't think it'll be as bad, since you were born there (right?) and still visit there from time to time. So you pretty much already know what to expect in that sense. Granted it'll be sad to leave your friends behind, but hopefully you're able to make new friends in your new environment fairly easily!

Good luck with the move. I think you'll be fine. ^^ Any idea of where in Canada you'll be moving to?

Thanks everyone... Yes, SM. I will be bringing Buffy. There's nowhere for him to stay here so he will have to go on to an airplane. Poor pup, he's scared of loud noises, and now he'll have to listen to those big engines O_O

Thanks Simbaholic, I have one friend so far. Her name is Baillie. But it might be hard to make friends until I officially join High School (which I am terrified of)...

As for when I will be moving. It will be sometime this summer, when school's out.

Thanks YFWE, yes I was born there and I did visit alot. The biggest adjustment I guess will be going to school in english and going to public school again. As for where, it will probably Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Because that's where my grandmother lives and she is the main reason we are moving.

I'm sure that you'll make friends very quickly, with your loveable personality ^^ Be sure to butter your dog's paws when it's time to move so that he won't escape so easily... LOL jk!
