Oh I quite understand. I've been pretty rushed the past few months and everything is stressful and frustrating when you can't figure out how to get from where you are to where you want to be. Don't let your parents pressure you too much though! I know it's really hard not to feel rushed and pressured by the things parents say, and sometimes they can be the opposite of helpful and make things a million times harder, but in the end it's your life, not theirs, and if you can afford to wait at all you need to take your time and figure out what you should be doing; it's not smart to just sit around doing nothing, but you also shouldn't be out applying for jobs that you know you can't do or anything like that, either. If you get into something you absolutely can't do, you'll end up bailing practically immediately and that's gonna look bad on you. That's what happens if you rush. I guess the best thing is to pace yourself.
For that matter, it would probably be a good idea to do something like what Flip was telling me to do the other day: give yourself little goals each day of something you can do that will get you a bit closer to moving on in life. It makes things a little bit more manageable that way.
Yeah, I'll give that at a go. I think I may have to try to get a job that's within walking distance, since I have no car or license, and I can't rely on my parents for rides. Of course, my worry with that is that I'd have to walk home at night. Given my extreme paranoia and fear of the dark (yes, I still fear the dark. Don't judge.) I'm worried that isn't a good option either. I dunno. I'll figure it out.

Best of luck.
