[HIATUS] Prideland's Hope

Mlezi stifled a giggle, brushing off a dusty part of the wall carefully revealing an engraved paw print with claws included, she looked at her own right paw with her claws out. She placed her paw on it, finding out it matched up perfectly. She thought carefully for a moment, "Majulio Majonsi Majilipa Majira"
The rock door then slid away, revealing a new room full of sigils and symbols, as well as more paintings. She looked back to the cubs, and Kion with a somewhat sheepish look. "Well, we as a group probably could keep this all secret?" She suggested, before stepping into the new room to get a better look at the walls' painting. "I see…" She said looking between the right and left wall, before looking at a small pool of water sniffing it "Tempting, but it is contaminated with some kind of poison despite still looking like sparkling fresh spring water"

"I can't really keep secrets if that was that quite important, Mlezi." Ayo said, watching her. "How do we know that is poison? I mean, it could be anything with some sweet scent. Do you have some kind of sharp nose? Besides, that didn't prove anything. Maybe someone wanted a private bath?"

"Or it could be used as a weapon. But this place has been sealed for years. Not even the current guard manage to open it..." Kion said with a puzzled look.

"T'was only a suggestion, 'sides even baths can be poisoned" Mlezi pointed back at the wall on if they were to leave the new cave, "In the bottom left corner is a small group of lions or big cats that look some like this… Shadow Council doing something to the pool, next painting to the right of it shows a young lion, Scar, unaware taking a drink from the same pool."

She then padded over to the far back wall, "Anyways, this rock over here shows a map of the Pridelands, and Outlands, this part here was my little territory" She pointed to a southern section of the Outlands, now filled over with Hyena. The rest of the Outlands map was overwhelmed with Hyena. And with no food in sight, was pushing them across the border into the Pridelands.

Going back to the front wall, gesturing to some circular symbols, "I've seen these before. On those that killed my mother. Anyways, I'll get to those and the side walls in a moment."
Pointing at a painting showing the event of Mufasa's death, and cub Simba's running away. Right to the side of it however showed Scar sorrowful, as if regretting something done.
"What I said to open this place means… Majulio means Regret, sorrow for something done. Majonsi means grief for a loss. Majilipa means Revenge. And Majira means time. Looks like aside from the poison, he judging by the rest of these paintings was tormented by nightmares. That combined with his emotions he kept hidden, bottled up and the poisoning was too much, thus began his fall into insanity."

She paused, staring at the two side walls now… "…." She turned to Kion, "These seem to be the paths I could go down, which appears to be strongly dependent on the current King and Queen's decisions… About me… Still, as I've said already I don't want to become anything like my father…" She pointed a paw at the shadowed wall, while looking more at the other wall lightened by sunlight.

[Braveheart]

"zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz." Idir gave a loud yawn before dozing off against a nearby wall, in a deep sleep much to the annyonnce of Ayo who simply frown. "Boring... It's a pity that leopards have no clan system here. They are solidarity creatures. Back from where I came from, things are so different."

"The weirest part is who did these paintings. From what I heard, only Rafiki and shamans can only do inking and coloring stuff from plants. Whoever did this, definately do not want others to know. Why?"

"Unless Grand Uncle Scar was a painter... What is this "Bright Side" & "Shadow side?" Kion tapped his chin before looking at the paintings.

Mlezi just ignored the sleeping cub, "Well… How bad was it exactly when Scar was King? That might give us an idea" She asked more in the Beige cub's direction. Her stomach growled, "So hungry…"

[Braveheart]

"The hyenas overhunted and there was some kind of famine or dought. That's the brief summary. I think we have some excess food outside the cave, provided if Ashanti the hyena is willing to share." Ayo said, carrying Idir on her back.

Mlezi followed the cubs out of the lair, "I think it might be a good idea to have everyone near when I tell my story, such as my mother's killers and how I got here exactly, to the Pridelands… But only if Simba here can calm down enough for it…"

She looked around on exiting the lair, "These lands are so beautiful right now…"

[Braveheart]

"So, what do we gain from all of this nonsense? We are only making a pit stop before going somewhere else." Idir opened one eye at her, a little annoyed.

"Simba is probably very stressed. He's not used to seeing someone new. Go back to sleep, Idir. We will discuss about home soon." Ayo said. "Thank the heavens you never seen war, Mlezi. You'll see blood everywhere."

Kion give a nod.

"If food is what you want. Then, come with me."

"Uhm… Who says I haven't?" Mlezi padded on the path sadly, eyes diverted.
"I'd like to visit the waterhole after for a drink."

[Braveheart]

"Only your mum, right?" Ayo said, following Kion. "I have seen genocide."

"Let's grab a bite too, and take up on Ayo's offer." Kion said, coming close to Mlezi
