ancient egypt! but I'd prefer to sort of be a 'ghost', just floating around and observing things about the temples and worship of the jackal deities, without having to actually interact w/ anyone since it would be impossible to blend in with the locals. if I had to be an actual, visible person, I'd just travel back to the late 90s/early 2000s and go to a bunch of toy stores, lol.

Not really. Think the closest I ever came was watching the entire TV show "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" when I was in 7th grade. But that was back before online streaming was a thing and before Netflix was what it is today, so I had to physically wait in the mail for each disc to come in and then there'd only be like 3 episodes or something, so it took several weeks for me to actually finish it. So it wasn't really a marathon. lol
