Not really. It could be a lot worse. At least TLG doesn't have plot threads we're dying to know more about, like Steven Universe. At least TLG hasn't wrapped up it's first season of only 13 episodes and isn't taking nearly a year to come out with more, like Star vs the Forces of Evil. Compared to those two, this... Month and a half? Two months? Feels like nothing.

Just out of curiosity is a show actually on hiatus when said show is still airing reruns? Because I thought a hiatus meant that said show was not airing any episodes until said hiatus is over?

^hiatus is a break in airing NEW episodes. they can still show reruns

Considering you have to wait for a year for new seasons of shows like Game of Thrones and Orange Is The New Black, a break of a month or two in the middle of a season is not that big a deal.
