Alright, so once I get a job, if I put $100 a week into paying my loans, I can get them paid off in just under 2 years. If I can give $50 a week, it'll probably be like 4-5, maybe 6, on account of interest. Both of these options are way better than the 30 years I'm supposed to take, but they don't leave me with much spending money or funds to help my folks....

This also means that it's going to take me about 4-8 years to save enough for.... well. That's a long time.

Well, I still need to get that job, then I'll just have to do the best I can, I reckon. Besides this means I've got plenty of time to get healthy so I can even do it, and to get people used to the idea. That's positive, right?

Ugh why couldn't I have just been normal?

Civilization 6 looks terrible already. At least some of the new gameplay sounds interesting, but naturally they have to cater to the tablet crowd with the backwards cartoon style. Very trustworthy to jump on the tablet bandwagon devs, I'm sure it'll make a fantastic mobile game.

So Civ VI has just been announced... Holy moly those graphics look far too cartoony, I want to feel like I'm settling an actual world not a cartoon mobile game. :pout:

Maybe I can look past that if the gameplay has been improved...

I can forgive them if they improve from the goddawful AI and diplomacy that was in Civ5. But they won't.

Also lemme guess, which basic mechanic will they turn into an expansion/DLC this time? Last time it was faith, will it be tech now?

Apparently they will have all the features from the Civ V expansions at launch, but 'won't be as fleshed out as they could be'. Considering they already felt pretty basic I'm not sure what to think of that.

That's probably the first time I've ever said that word to Dad. :chuckle: And his responses were amusing, too.
