Here's hoping I can get the laundry done, shower, go to the store, and make some muffins before Darcie comes to get me for the party.

^ Pedophilia is wrong because children, especially the younger they are, cannot give informed consent. Being gay is not wrong because ideally everyone involved are mature and consenting adults. Brains that are not fully developed are not as capable of decision making, and thus are not as capable of giving informed consent. Pedophilia is traumatizing to the child and full of manipulation on the part of the adult. And as for suicide, yes it is usually associated with mental illness for good reason. I was suicidal myself once, and I know for a fact I was not mentally well at the time. I'm still not in many respects. Are things like assisted suicide for chronic and debilitating diseases that can't be cured justifiable? Yes, if it's done with a clear mind. But suicide from depression is directly caused by something that is treatable. Is it hard? Yes, but it can be done.

Comparing sexual attraction to the same sex to sexual attraction to pre-pubescent children...

Nah, I'm just going to walk away from this conversation.

I think it's high time we end this conversation myself to be honest. It's just getting into territory I'd rather not get into.

What's the moral of the story? Never go to WAYTRN without a quick escape route.
