I'd like to do another long walk tomorrow, but I should probably let this blister heal properly before tackling another one.

Why do there exist so many bitcoin-miner viruses/botnets? Why can't someone install a shonky program then find out that it installed a SETI@Home bot on his PC? Or a Folding@Home bot? Why cryptocurrency miners instead?

Because Capitalism. It makes people do what profits them, and not necessarily everyone else.

Ugh. My foot feels like it's asleep. Nothing like poor circulation to your foot.

Perhaps you can buy more circulation in the future?

Anything to make the Capitalists gain more money and unjust power.

I hear they're already working on a way to make you have to buy happiness. I think it's called Consumerism.

The same can be said about the kids' existence in the first place.

They never asked to be alive, and when the time comes, assuming it hasn't already, they'll realise that they don't like it.

Why parents keep bringing innocent souls into life is beyond me.

^ Well, I mean the human species would die without having kids. Whether that's a good thing or not depends on your point view, but at least a good chunk of humanity feels a desire to reproduce.

Honestly, I think the desire to have kids in this world is inherently selfish to the core.
