My application to a job I actually really liked has 'progressed'. Which is annoying. Because the job is relatively far and bus fares are expensive enough on their own. And I actually want it.

This is bullsh!t. I thought the whole point of public transport is to encourage you to use it, not make it so expensive to use on a daily basis that you actually have to reconsider job applications because of it.
