I would be inclined to think that because the series was renewed so early in the first seasons run. At the very least the number of episodes would be the same.
I would think so. Either 26 episodes, or 24 + a TV movie, just like this season. To clear some confusion, the way these shows usually work is that 65 episodes are ordered at first. Usually with two 26 episode seasons and one 13 episode season. However, if the show proves successful enough, more episodes could be ordered right away, which means the 13 episode season would be turned into a 26 episode season. Of course, if the show proves to be a massive failure, it could be cancelled at any point. Usually they like to cancel shows after a season has finished, but cancelling the show in the middle of a season's production is far from unheard.
So I'd say it seems The Lion Guard is currently proving to be successful and popular enough to at least provide us with 65 episodes across three seasons. More than that? That's to be seen. And it could always be cancelled earlier if its success suddenly crumbles. It's hard to predict, since it all pretty much boils down to how well the toys and other merchandise sell. Surprising as it is, even TV ratings don't really matter that much. There have been popular cartoons that have stopped just cause the toys didn't sell well due to bad marketing. And poorly received shows that have gone on forever thanks to good toy sales.
