Rain in general is relaxing to listen to for me. I dunno, maybe the storm outside drowns out the sounds of the storm in my mind? And nah, it's fine, I'm trying to make more friends, so I don't think being called cute is bad, per se? It's just kinda weird, is all. That doesn't happen to me much (see: ever).

Guess storms unnerve me because I'm afraid of power surges . That and loud noises turn my hearing aid off. One minute I can hear the next "OMG WHAT DID YOU SAY!? THUNDER TURNED ME EAR OFF!" .

Where I live it storms often, and every spring we get a tornado (or at the very least a tornado watch) so being unnerved by thunderstorms would be really unfortunate.

I can understand being annoyed with it turning off your hearing aid, though. That would get on my nerves too. I get annoyed enough with the weird things my ears do on their own.
