Can't he just give up on the subject? Doesn't he understand that I will not go to college? That I don't have the confidence to go? For god's sake I can't even finish my own stuff. I don't have the courage to tell him that I plan on finding a job so I can pay for my own stuff, aside from helping my mother with the bills and so.
"You can't stop studying" you say, but don't you get it? I can't spend more years only studying and without money of my own, to spend visiting my friends, having fun in con(with my bff) or buying something nice for me once in a while. I can't ask you to pay for my own stuff, nor I can ask mom to do so.

This. I feel like I'll not be able to finish it and all the money he spent would be for nothing.
Aside that, apparently he did the same to my brother, was always "you should go to college" but in the last week said he would pay for it. My dad has the money to pay for my studies but he just spends it travelling every damn month to his gf's house and ofc he likes to "show off" and wouldn't go there to "save his money"...
