My sister's front page on Pinterest is going to be filled with Peeta Mellark pins now because of me. Oh well. I don't regret it.

I wonder if I can get some ingredients for apple crisp tomorrow. I'd love to make some for the family. :)

I need to reread the books and highlight all of his best lines like I did in TFiOS. That should be fun. :D At least, until I get to the third book.

Ugh someone just lay my mother to rest, no I don't want her to "hear my voice". If she wanted me to want to speak to her she should have behaved better the past 18 years.

So wait, we, people who like Fifthy Shade of Grey, are perverts and only care about the books/movies because it has mature content, BUT people who watch Game of Thrones are "cool", have nice taste, and so on? It has more mature content(and I'm not talking in gore things) than FSoG, for god's sake. And don't get me started with the multiple critics and insults that the actors from FSoG received, in contrast, I've never heard about this actors getting harassed.... Yup, seems totally fair :-?

Oh well, I think I'll have to get upand start working.

I couldn't agree more. Most people who hate the books and movies state that "FSoG features an abusive relationship", but, from what I known and have seen, GoT isn't much better on that field...at least, during the 1st season. But, of course, opinions vary. :/

From my understanding a lot of people watch GoT in spite of those things rather than because of those things like Fifty Shades of Grey.

Honestly 'other media shows stuff like that too' is not a valid excuse. Fifty Shades of Grey is a toxic, toxic book and the fact that people have supported the author infuriates me. There's nothing okay about romanticising rape, stalking and abuse in relationships and there is nothing anyone can say that can change my mind on this. It's selling it all as being 'sexy'. People legitimately have their lives ruined because of abusive relationships like the one potrayed. (Hell, I've heard that even the BDSM community condemns it for being a gross misrepresentation of them.) The thought that there's young people out there now who have their views on relationships tainted by such books drives me mad. You have no idea how many people are victims of abusers like Christian Grey and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were influenced by such potrayals in media.

Yeah, other media does it too. Yeah, it's unhealthy as hell. But that does not excuse it in the slightest.
