Not to mention people lately have said how sick they are of people posting stuff like 'I win' which was the original "meaning" of the topic in the first place, clearly everyone just wants to use it as a chat and what better place to chat than the two places the forum already has for it.

I don't understand why losing a 'joke' thread is such a big issue when it was really just a glorified chatroom, we already have a chatroom and a chat thread apparently so why is this such a big loss?

If you ask me the chatroom should be promoted more so we don't have silly threads like that.

I'm not talking about myself only when I say some people prefer regular threads or chat threads to a chatroom, as they aren't exactly the same thing. But, of course, most people don't feel this way, so...yeah. It's fair. In a way, it's also a matter of habit.

On the contrary - I'm having a Skype discussion right now with someone and they're honestly pretty angry over it.

Seriously? Personally, yeah, I liked the thread, but, if it's done, it's done. Honestly, it's "just" a thread, in the end - no offense to anyone, I hope.
