I dream one day the TLK RPs here will take flight.

I'd really like to get into RP but the problem is that I don't trust myself to have enough free time for them, I go over a week until I get time to make any really contributive posts sometimes. I do write fan fic sometimes though.

I think it's all about finding a considerate RP partner, one that suits you as an RPer. I'm not as active as I used to be, I can go for three or four days before getting a reply back to someone and I feel awful about it. Sometimes it's because I'm genuinely busy and other times it's because I have no muse. I'm very, very thankful to have a few partners who are willing to wait for me and I know they aren't getting upset because of the wait. Although it's not nice to leave your partners with no reply and no explanation as for why, people have to remember that we do lead lives away from the computer. Roleplay should never be a chore for you.

Also, the reply length doesn't have to be insane - you could always work out something with your partner(s) where each reply is only a few sentences, or more if you want to. Not a compulsory thing. You'll find some understanding people out there

I swear one of the reasons getting back into RP would be a bad idea for me is because any OCs would probably contain a lot of disguised venting lol. Kind of like talking to someone about your thoughts but without them realising it's what you actually think and they don't have to worry about giving you advice or anything. It could make keeping a consistent character difficult.

Also I'm terrible at combating writer's block and people would hate me
