Being scared is fun from time to time.

But yeah, I have seen the first season of FTWD, and it's slower, considering that it's the early stages of the apocalypse. It does still have its tense parts, but it's not as extreme as the first series yet. I'm really interested to see where the show goes in season 2, since that's beginning in a few weeks here.

I'm probably weird in that I don't even consider TWD to belong to the horror genre.

I mean obviously it does, but I don't think of it that way.

I consider more of it as a survivor type thriller tbh

On one of the Inside the Walking Dead episodes, they described it as a "modern western," and that's sort of how I see it, just, a dark, suspenseful modern wesern.

I guess I'll probably watch FTWD, instead. I'm bad at handling tension and, IMO, TWD has a lot of it.

Both of my parents adore TWD. It's the only show I think my dad has ever wanted merchandise for. He was ecstatic when I bought him a shirt one day. Pretty adorable.

It's quite funny, because I often find myself sitting in my room without music playing, and I'll just hear all sorts of intense, gorey noises from their TV. Lots of screaming. Lots of uncomfortableness. And then I walk into their room, and there's my mum knitting and happily watching it like it isn't totally horrifying.
