Honestly, for me, the only reason today is special is because it is Walking Dead Day.

I don't watch TWD, but damn, I couldn't hold myself and ended up watching the part where Carl gets shot in the eye and I'm so curious about what will happen next

I've read the comics, so I know some things, but they change it deliberately so we don't know exactly what's coming, lol. I'm very interested to see how they adapt this segment of the story; it's definitely going down differently than in the comics, quite differently.

If there weren't others on here reading the comics and watching the show, I'd be glad to tell you some of the comic stuff about what's next.

Oh well, we just have to wait. But I will say that Carl does become even more badass after that in the comics. Oh yes.

I've been reading some stuff about him, but like you said, they change some things deliberately, that's why I'm so curious. It's a shame I'm not really into "zombies", because damn I'm surely interested in some characters, especially Carl (I love his cowboy hat btw)

Someone told me that the comics are even worse (darker) than the series, is that so?

In some cases, yeah the comics are darker. They do some things that I think they're a bit more cautious of doing on TV because it is TV. Also, the series is more about the characters than the zombies, especially where the comics are now, hell even where the show currently is, so even without being into zombie media you might be able to enjoy it.

That said, if you don't really wanna try to get into it, you can always PM me for spoilers.

Good thing they tried their best to look realistic in the TV.

I plan to start watching it then, but I don't think I'll catch up with the new episodes any time soon

That moment does look much more improbable to survive in the comics, but Kirkman swears it wasn't meant to.

Hmm... well, there's 5 full seasons aired and two episodes left on season 6... you might be able to get through it by the time season 7 begins, if you like it enough to keep watching once you get started.

TWD scares the hell out of me...it's so...tense.

Has anyone here seen Fear The Walking Dead, though? Is it just as tense? I'm asking because it's going to air on TV here and I'm curious about it.

Being scared is fun from time to time.

But yeah, I have seen the first season of FTWD, and it's slower, considering that it's the early stages of the apocalypse. It does still have its tense parts, but it's not as extreme as the first series yet. I'm really interested to see where the show goes in season 2, since that's beginning in a few weeks here.
