It's the best. And that does sound great! It's one I've always been a bit on the wall about seeing live, because the 1986 movie means so much to me and I honestly don't think anything could beat it. As a movie and a musical, it works perfectly. It totally re-invented the story of Little Shop.

"It's Tough To Be A God" from The Road to El Dorado. Another great movie.

Oh it is FANTASTIC live! You must see. We saw the Broadway revival tour a few years ago. It has a slightly different ending than the film, but it's wonderful. Plus it's always really cool to see how they tackle Audrey II. There's always little local theaters doing it too, and it's been good in those as well. My high school did it senior year. I helped design the puppets, but I didn't get to help too much because it was a show for the freshmen.

I will admit, the individual puppetry IS what keeps me interested when looking at the live shows! I've seen some pretty great ones, even for the smaller productions. :) I'll keep an eye out for the opportunity.
