anything lion guard

So... how old are the members of the lion guard? I'm sure this is a point that has been discussed, but between the episode with the jackal cub and the episode today with children looking up to the guard and trying to emulate them, it's safe to say none of the lion guard members are children. They have to be teenage equivalent, right? Or are they meant to be, like, twelve and all of the "little" kids in the show are around five-to-six years old?

Someone on Tumblr actually made a photoset with their speculative ages but I can't find it. I think the Guard are all intended to be preteens. I've always imagined that Ono was the eldest, at maybe twelve, and Bunga was the youngest at about ten. Not sure about the rest of them. I'd assume all the real little kids in the show are anything from 5-9 years old.

Fuli's old enough to live and hunt on her own. I guess she could be an orphan who had to learn at a young age, but I'm inclined to believe she may very well be the oldest. Ono's voice actor is the oldest of all of the cast, but that doesn't mean Ono is the oldest character. He could be, but the show hasn't done much to imply that.

I know his VA being the eldest doesn't automatically mean Ono is :chuckle: I didn't even think about that when I wrote it; I was just saying that I imagined it to be that way. Just like you imagine Fuli to be the oldest. It's just a headcanon.

It's more believable for a cheetah to survive on her own if she's older. She's probably the only member of the guard that has killed something. If Kiara hasn't killed, I doubt Kion has. I'm not saying she's older than Ono - we have no way of knowing - but I don't think she's a kid.

Edit: By "killed something", I'm not counting insects.

did anyone see the new episode yet? the sound is really strange! I watched it on kisscartoon but...just horrible. the intro song was 2 octaves lower and very slow, the movements did not match the sound of talk etc. I didn't sit through the 1st few minutes. that is the first time in tlg history I did not want to watch an episode....

Kisscartoon will sort itself out, just give them a day or so. This has happened before and they've solved the issue.

^ Not the 'real' name, just the name in that particular translation. That happens now and again.
