I know what it means. It's just odd to me because I watch MLP just because, well, I think it's a great show.

I also think it's a great show because the large variety of cast and I like their easy moral lessons. I mean, just look at the number of fan based works compared to TLK...and of course the number of people going brony cons.

I'm glad that MLP is still going strong after over 100 episodes, with quality arguably increasing every season.

That's incredibly rare for an animated series not made for adults.

Hmm, do you think the series will die at some point, or would it be like a doctor who thing?

At the very least, I don't think Hasbro will EVER risk changing the overall style that came with FiM. The show is a million times more successful than anything MLP-related before, which changed constantly and (besides for some whom are nostalgic for the very original) no one cares about.

Even if FiM ends and we get G5 someday, I think it will be an extension of FiM in some form.

I wonder what does G5 look like, would it be more fantasy or towards realism...

It's a little hard adjusting to new art styles, tbh.
