^ Lol, that was cute. Lion cubs are so adorable. And I think the song is just some African-esque stock music they use, we hear similar types in the American advertisements. I don't think it's a real song, but you never know.

The only two TLG songs I haven't liked are first and foremost "Duties of the King" that just made me cringe and have spasms when Lowe started singing :ugh: :upset2: I do liket hat most of the music is catchy and upbeat and has an African influence to it. I like a lot of character redesigns and learning more about the Pridelands including different animal customs (like in the rise of Makkuu). I do not like the toilet humor. In Can't Wait to be Queen did they have to have Simba make the mistake of saying "He has much poo on him?" :ocwap: Saying it once is enough but not through the entire little gag there with the elephants guys :notagain: I do like that the episode mentioned that the elephant was one of the first animals to help the Pridelands animals return after Simba defeated Scar.

Some things are done in the series that do not make sense. Why would Simba leave Kiara in charge when she's a cub even if she's a tween cub she's still a bub  Why would Nala not let one of the other lioness watch the cubs if she went with Simba? That didn't make much sense to leave a kingdom in the paws of an inexperienced cub and risk their lives? Second, if Simba couldn't get the elephant farewell right, Zazu could have spoken for him. Rulers do this all the time and so do other dignitaries having someone assigned to speak for them, so it doesn't make much sense. I get that Simba felt it was his duty to honor his late elephant friend, but the more sensible thing would be to let Zazu handle it rather than risk offending the elephants. I feel that Mufasa should try to let Kion be on his own more to make his own decisions because I just get the feeling Mufasa would want to see him mature and rely on himself rather than his grandfather or parents.

I do love a lot about the Lion Guard and I am addicted to the show. It shows a broader scope of the universe which I like. I also enjoy seeing character exploration and development. I do hope there is a Kion-Nala centered episode just because I love Nala. I wish to bits someone who explain what happened to Sarabi and Sarafina. They were there in TLK. I understand Madge Sinclair died so they didn't want to replace her VA, but certainly she's there in the pride? She is the former queen and Simba's mother and Kiara and Kion's grandmother so she's um kind of important  :proud3: I bought the plush talking Kion yesterday and want to buy the large Kion plush to go with the rest of my Lion King collection.

I like duties of the king. It's one of the more 'fun' songs.

My favorite tlg song is 'call of the guard' full version because it's like john williams did a tlk theme song.

I guess I should say I don't mind "Duties of the King" except when Lowe sings because his voice as Simba's I'm sorry just makes me cringe. That's me though :kiongrin2:

I think the series is fine as it is, but honestly, I think it would make more sense and have more potential if it took place after Simba's Pride. They could've done more original stuff without some people questioning everything. And it would've been nice to see the story move forward rather than it being an alternate timeline sorta thing between the two movies. They were obviously aware of Simba's Pride so I wonder why they did it the way they did. Kiara is Kion's big sister anyway, so it wouldn't have mattered if she was already a grown up in the series. But as said, I think the show's still fine as it is. Just interesting to think about its potential had they done it that way.

ok im just gonna say this to those who have the disappointment, getting used to the Lion guard in general for me made me realize, in order to accept what is, you have to set your mind in a little kids mind in order to see why they did what they did, and those who expected better, well think of it this way, I am a lion king fan who accepts any levels of entertainment now, fr example as a Disney fan I watch Once upon of time, where alot of the Disney stories are EXTREMELY twisted in them selves and alot are not happy on how the stories are told, my response, oh well,. Now I do watch game of thrones and have gotten used to alot of violence and sexual scenes that I was uncomfortable with at first, I dont know if im saying this right but, I can go from watching game of thrones to watching Sofia the first, I just have to keep an open mind to what is and enjoy it for what it is even if I dont accept some things, so I guess what im trying to say is if you can accept different ages of shows and different ways of entertainment then the bigger imagination you have.....I guess, I really hope you get what I mean

if there is a better way to say this, then go ahead please.

I'm assuming there won't be a new episode tomorrow, right? Does anyone know when the show is starting again?

Oh, cool! Thanks for telling me! I was sort of hoping this episode would be all about Beshte, but this looks kinda cute too. I'm hoping Beshte is still partly the focus.

the episode will be about that little elephant you see in the preview, who is really looking up towards Beshte, even starting his own lion guard and tagging along Beshte like a real fan  so Besthe is the center of attention in this episode I guess. But you never know with tlg, the episodes are Always different than what the preview makes you think. About the plot: I read that online..
