I need to find a good subject for my argumentative essay...but I don't know any. According to the guidelines, it has to be subjects like "Do videogames make children more violent?" or "Should euthanasia be legal?". :/

I don't know how to explain it to them. I think I'm distancing myself from my friends, but that's not what I aim to do.

I don't think this spot treatment is working at all, which really bothers me because I hate having acne, even if mine is very minimal compared to some. It just doesn't make sense. I exercise everyday, I drink plenty of water. I can't see any reason for me to be like this other than the fact that I'm still going through puberty. But I'll be 18 this June... surely my face should be clearing up, right? :busted:

As well as that, it's really expensive. I think I'll give it another month or so and see how it is.

^ My acne didn't start dying down until like... 21-22. Some people get through it more slowly than others.

^ Oh, god. I'm hoping mine starts to fade sometime this year. If not I guess I should start getting better at concealing it

^Mine started dying out when I was around 16/17, but I still have some "periodical phases" where it comes back. It varies according to each person. :)

I use a "cleaning fluid" that comes in a "stick bottle" form as a treatment during those "phases". It's a bit expensive but it's also pretty effective, at least, in my case. I don't know if other countries have it, though. I'm not familiar with medications and such outside of Portugal. :kionoops:

I think the best acne treatments that worked for me were the pill (and it's free if you tell them your using it for contraception) and Sudo creme for the odd spot that pops up.

Mine settled down when I was about 22 and started using the pill. Since having my baby it's settled down a heck of alot, though I do still get the odd one appear.

I'm whining about this horrendous chest pain :/ Always worries me when I get pains around there like this as my grandfather died young from a heart attack.

Thanks for the info guys! I've actually heard good things about Sudo creme but never tried it for acne, might see if we have any laying around and experiment tonight. I'm currently using ProActive (it's been advertised a lot on British TV) and while it worked pretty well after the first week of using it, to me, it is making no difference whatsoever now. I've been applying it twice a day since January. And I actually think I'm getting new spots. It's a bit of a pain in the backside because it makes my makeup flake (even the really light stuff), so it's becoming impossible for me to hide it. :pout2:

I guess it is just a puberty thing at the end of the day but I can't help but wish it would go away. Suppose everyone with acne does!
