It's incredible. Buffy still amazes me. I can't believe the impact he had on the people around him... He's been gone for months and we've had numerous people say they were so sad and upset that Buffy passed away... I mean! Even the pizza delivery guy remembered him! And he only met him ONCE.
This one really touched me though. When I got off work Dad said this elderly lady walked up to our house with this really sad look in her eyes. She came to tell us that she was so sad about Buffy's passing and that she'd been meaning to come see us forever but found it too difficult. She loved how he would recognize her car and howl at her and wag his tail. Gosh... To think that someone who used to drive by him while he was out on the lawn came to love him so much. It's incredible. Buffy left his pawprints in our hearts and in this world. I still miss him so much, but I'm realizing that every day I had with him was a blessing. It's hard to believe that at the end of this month it will have been one year since he passed away. One year since my world shattered. Gosh, I don't think I'll ever stop missing that dog...
