^ I would. I've been a fan just as long and didn't get into the fandom until 2011.

^ I would. Because we have different interests from time to time and you still have your friends here. No matter where your new interests lie, you will always return to the origin.

But for people like me have few strings attached, then it's a different story. Once severed, it's game over for me.

I am huge into videogames, but most people who are dedicated gamers are also terrible people with a few exceptions.


The gaming community is full of elitism, sexism, idiocy, ignorance, and more unpeasant things.

^ I've always heard that from some people, but rarely have I experienced it. I've seen it online, but I avoid it.

I've found a lot of people I've met that are into gaming to be really cool people.

Yeah. The opposite is true for me. I do happen to keep in contact with the good people i've met in the gaming community whether it be via facebook or online gaming.

I've never been into online gaming for that very reason.

Oh it's mostly just the folks i've met via gaming forums.

A lot of gamers I have seen via online gaming are even worse.

^Indeed. Especially MMOs. But probably because they have too much pride in what they are doing.
