Welp, I'm kinda shaky and don't have my thoughts organized at all, so not gonna do the next video tonight. Oh well. Love what I am doing! :D

This is a really big moment for me. I can't believe this all is happening... but life's definitely been looking up. Truth be told, I've spent three and a half years on this website and even in that time, things have changed so much that I can barely recognize the broken husk of a person that I once was. I feel finally free of that burden. I'm in control of my own fate, and what's more, with this job this summer, the possibility of free rent at the barn next year (in exchange for work I will probably like doing), and the fact that I'm getting more financial aid than my bill for spring quarter...

Holy crap. I'm financially independent. At 17. I don't have to rely on my parents (or anyone else) for anything. I can go do my own things with the knowledge that I'm an adult, in basically every way... and, most importantly, I don't have to live in the shadow of my past any longer. My childhood is finally over and I can now truly be free of it for the first time.

This is the highest point in my life thus far, by a wide margin. I can't even really describe how grateful and at ease I feel. I can only hope that I don't let this go...

... because now I finally feel like my own person. :pawprint:

^Wow, that was awesome, GG. Someday I will be like you. Because getting a house on my own requires 35 years of age.
(Private is an option too but need to be prepared to cough out at least 700,000 to 900,000)

Eating less is probably gonna be difficult for a while, but I have been used to eating too much at a time. It's important to eat healthier portions if I wanna get in shape and stay that way.

So, I must ignore the hunger since it hasn't been too long since I ate!

I've been up for 13 hours and I have eaten a total of one bowl of soup today. Should probably stop ignoring the hunger now.
