Yeah, it's for Contemporary English Literature class. Supposedly, we must do a "bibliographic research", find 3 articles/theory books related to the class, then refer them by using the MLA format. On the end, we justify why we chose those 3. It's not complex, but I've never done something like this before.

Sounds like some kind of research report work. Just do more research on the chosen theories, and then you can find out who wrote them, why and other kinds of interesting facts about them. Why a fact remains interesting, really depends on your interpretation & maybe some cross-referencing. Your school research might has its own database where you can draw info from.

And finally, present them in MLA format.
