Twin, it's not a new identity for me, I just didn't always know what to call it. The entire time I've been on MLK I've known I'm bi-gender (a subset of gender fluid, basically, though less well known), which just means that sometimes I identify male and other times female; for me those periods tend to last for years and then change seemingly abruptly to onlookers with the occurrence of major events. Through elementary and grade school, I didn't identify as male or female, middle and high school I identified male, and then in college, aka most of the time I was on MLK, it was female... now it's reverted and I'm much more comfortable with me again. I finally am happy with myself again (mostly), and I tend to be more confident and independent and generally more awesome when I identify male... I experience a lot of dysphoria when I identify female, and tend to be more insecure and emotional during those periods as well.

It's pretty complicated and would take a lot of explaining, which is why I mostly just try to hint at people to switch pronouns instead of trying to explain. It's not a conscious decision which way I identify, though.

Hmmmmm, interesting, TPAM. I'm still trying to figure out how exactly I feel, gender-wise. I'll probably have to think about it some more, if I'm honest.

Pretty much the only time I ever feel female and feminine is when I'm with Jack, and it never really happens anywhere else. So I'm probably best described by something other than just "female".
