The movie is 5-10 years too late. WoW, while still big isn't as big as it was.

Still the largest MMO in existence. In fact in the beginning of Warlords of Dreanor actually reached back to the top subscriber count it once had. Although didn't hold up because of poor execution. Regardless should the movie prove to be good that will change.

At the very least the trailers made it look a little different from the usual modern fantasy film that tries too hard to be lord of the rings. Who knows it might be good but i'm not hopeful.
