Acording to rumor, They've already shown snipets of a blu-ray edition of TLK at a convention in 2008. Although, not sure if this is true for sure.

Since TLK was not originally made in HD (or at least I don't think it was) I don't see how watching it on Blu-Ray would make it better. Movies on Blu-Ray only look awesome if they were made in that kind of quality.
That 2in diameter fart can probably adds at least 50bhp.

I don't have a bluray player so the only reason I would buy it for bluray is for collecting purposes, because I already have the platinum dvd. I've also seen enough bluray films where I really can't tell much of a difference between dvd and bluray quality so meh

I do have a blue ray player/ ps3 so whenever it comes out I will be pumped! I will say though that its not expected to be out on blue-ray until the fall of 2011 and by then blue ray players will be a lot cheaper and a lot more consumers will have them. I did find this link that I thought was interesting about mentioning showing clips of the Lion King on blue ray at the Consumer Electronics Show 2008.

I am totally getting TLK when it comes out on Blu-Ray. I have it on VHS and DVD, but for it to be on Blue-Ray... Think of the outstanding quality!
