Bakari slightly opened his eyes, letting out a muffled moan. His head felt like it was on fire, throbbing constantly. He tried to take in what was happening, he knew he was being dragged by the hyenas but where? Maybe to where Mila was being held, he didn't know.

Upon arriving to the main area of the hyena pride, Zilo ordered the hyenas to throw the two lions into a cave next to the one that Mila was located. The cave was so dark, that you couldn't notice a hole big enough for a head connecting the cave Mila was in and the one the two males were in.

Mila heard something outside, but didn't get up. She figured it was some hyenas moving around outside.

Bakari struggled to move, pain searing through his joints and his head. "Zeke," he called out quietly, "Zeke, can you hear me?" It was so dark he couldn't see if Zeke was in there with him although the scent was strong. He was becoming desperate, feeling all alone and helpless in the dark cave. "Mila? Anybody?"

[Zeke]

Zeke awoke to Bakari's voice. He moaned in pain and his ears were ringing. "Bakari? Where are you?" Zeke hadn't even looked around the cave yet, for it was pitch black and he saw no use in doing so.

"Zeke?" Bakari felt a wave of relief. "Just stay where you are, it's no use trying to move around in here, at least we know we're still togethor. I just wish Mila was here..." His eyes weren't adjusting to the darkness and Bakari just laid down and tried to get his head to stop throbbing.

Zeke made no attempt to move for he was already sore. He tasted the blood running down from his nose and felt every cut and tear that was on his body. "Where do you think we are?" He asked, closing his eyes

"Well, my first guess would be a makeshift prison," Bakari said, feeling a shiver of fear. "Otherwise, I just don't know," He suddenly became aware of the blood beginning to run down his muzzle. "All I really know is that there is some other lion at the head of all this, and he's quite clearly not friendly."

Mila heard the two talking. "Who's there? Bakari? Zeke? Is that you guys?" she said.

Bakari felt a surge of joy and relief. "Mila? I can't believe it, you're here! Do you know what's going on? What they want with us?"

Mila knew exactly what was going on. "Yeah, I know what's going on. I need to tell you something first though. If he comes inside here, stop talking to me. There should be a hole somewhere in the wall between us, and that's why we can hear each other, so you can see me if I have to give a signal of some sort." She said
