Driving horses is really fun! I should really be doing more of that this quarter... today was the first time I've gone out in a while.

Still, though. Kinda scares me when people put in their earphones and tune out and therefore decide it's okay to bike/skateboard/walk right in front of or next to a moving carriage while barely even looking. I mean, I know we take up a lot of space, but... WTF, people??

^ There aren't horse carriages at MTSU, but there are cars and people do that crap right out into the road without ever looking.

^ Ugh, I bet. I mean, it's bad enough when you do it for cars, since cars go so fast... but at least cars are somewhat predictable. Moreso than horses, anyway.

I feel like most people had common sense and gave us a wide clearance but some people just grazed past us and were barely looking. It was the weirdest thing ever. Like we were on the right side of the road, even, and this kid on his skateboard squeezed between us and the curb! WTF? I mean nothing happened and we all just laughed awkwardly as we watched him stupidly go by but it was still one of those moments where you cringe a little bit. If the horses had suddenly decided to pull to the right or something then he probably would've run into them or into the spreader bar, or been trapped between the curb and the wagon. And it's a pretty biga** wagon, too, so... I'm guessing that wouldn't have been a good time?

I mean honestly, why would you even risk something like that? Just go to the left like a normal person, bro. Or wait for an opportunity to get on the sidewalk or something. It's not like there are cars driving around on campus (it's mostly bikes and pedestrians) so he wouldn't have been in any danger if he'd just gone towards the center of the road like everyone else.
