this means that season one only has 8 episodes? the 2 last episodes that are known about, are about Fuli (finds her place and that other one) so that means, thats it? we will have to wait a long time for season 2 if they only start production now. But that is not a problem, it is very awesome to know that the legacy of the lion king continues with this series, so for me I say yay!!

Not at all. Typically, it takes over a year to complete a season of an animated program. They often begin working on it while the previous season is still airing. Scripts are written first - I would assume every season two episode is already written at this point.

We already know the Kovu, Nuka and Vitani episode is in season one. There is more to come.
