Doesn't look like he'll be killing anyone from what I've seen, and yeah, I've been waiting rather impatiently since I saw the first two in 2012 for the new one to come out... it was supposed to come out late last year but was pushed back on account of Star Wars.

What makes you think that? Been wanting to see this since kfp2. Usually trailers are bad with spoiling things. The trailers for how to train your dragon 2 spoiled a HUGE plot twist.
