"What did he mean, soon I'll be like my mother?" Nala asked, not stopping Simba from licking her.

Simba just shrugged,"Let's find out. Hey! What do you mean by -- ah shoots, he disappeared. Oh hi dad! I made it in time, didn't I ?"

Mufasa towered over the young prince,"I heard you got into a fight and nearly got killed! What happened?"

"Ummm, it's a long story, dad. Maybe we can do that tommorrow?"

"Simba, tell your dad what happened," Nala instructed, pulling away from him. "We might as well. Waiting will only make the punishment worse."

"But Nala....it's a long night. You are injured and...and...and...Er..." Simba squirmed a little under the intense gaze of his father.

Zazu just landed on Mufasa's shoulder giving a triumphant look.

"No no no! We erm... went exploring in the mysterious woods then got chased by wilderbeasts, hyenas and got saved by by....by..."Simba just looked at Nala.

"We got saved by an old friend of ours," Nala said.

"Anyone we know?" Sarafina asked.

"It's not someone you've mentioned before," Nala said, which apparently was a good enough answer for her mother.

"Yeah! An old friend, so are we off the hook now?" Simba said.

"What does your old friend look like? Why is it we--"

"Oh, dad... come on."Simba just rolled his eyes.

[Queen Elsa]

"She's no one important," Nala said. "She just helped fend off the hyenas so we could return home. That's all."

[Braveheart]

"Can I take Nala to her sleeping quarters? By the way, Mum... why doesn't Uncle Scar join us?"

"Son, it is dangerous out there and we had that talk the last time...You're grounded until Nala heals."
