I hate the fact I have to work 50 hours in a week, but other people elsewhere only work less than 40 hours. :(

TheBlueQueen wrote:I definitely agree. I can only hope the majority of the people my brother will meet in his life will be supportive and kind to him. But he'll always have the support of me and my family. Anyone who dares to mistreat my little brother because of his sexuality will have a bone to pick with me. I may not be gay myself, but I can sympathize with how he feels to some degree. Admitting to being asexual was hard enough for me. I can understand that coming out as LGBT is so much harder and even unsafe in many circumstances. And in your case, I wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide to do, whether you do eventually to come out or not.

Thank you very much. :hug2: You've said it all. Well, the only thing I can say now is that your brother's very lucky to have a sister like you! :D

Oh, wow. I just can't imagining living like that, it'd be awful for me. I've never asked this before, although I've wondered it (because you often mention "Asia"), but where do you live? You may refuse to reply, of course.

I live in Singapore where it's one of the most expensive cities of the world to live in, work one of the longest hours and a fairly conservative society. This is where LBGT is mostly a hush hush thing. Almost everyone I spoke to, spun the idea of LGBT.

But, with that being said, I have some LGBT friends and they are really nice folks. When they revealed themselves to me, I was like, okay that's cool bro/sis, let's grab a beer to toast 8-). There's really nothing wrong with LBGT, everyone just have diffferent sexual preferences.

^Ohhh, Singapore. I've always had interest in visiting Singapore, if I must be honest. :) But, yeah, I get what you mean. I wish more people reacted like you, though. :P

It's a nice place to visit. We do have very good tourist attractions like the botanical park and Sentosa Island. Normally tourists would combine their trips with Malaysia and neighboring countries.

Well, honestly these days people judge too much. I thought that reaction is really normal tho, because it's not right to shun others away simply because they are diffferent, especially besties ;)

I'm glad TLG has that sisi no sawa song. It teaches kids not to judge so easily.

I've always thought it was funny how people make such a big deal out of sexuality. When I was in high school, middle school, and even elementary school, my classmates would sometimes accuse me of being gay. Did I ever care? No. The bible-toting straight kids annoyed me, and the awkward, proudly-gay kids annoyed me too when they would ask me out. It's people in general that annoyed me, really. Gay, not gay, bisexual, not bisexual, asexual, hypersexual, what difference does it make? Really?

Sexuality is such a complicated thing, and there are many more variables that could be used to make a spectrum. These may include, but are not limited to: age, height, race, body shape, tone of voice, personality traits, dominant/submissive preferences, and so on. Attraction based on gender is just one little thing. It's so silly to say that I'm one thing or another, when in reality, every human on this planet is a hundred billion different things all rolled up into one package of almost incomprehensible complexity.
