Adrian let out a little sigh of relief, but frowned when he said what the reason was. He looked down at his food and continued eating, not even looking at any of the others.

Leon looked at his cousin and sighed a little, saying, "Adrian... I'm sorry for what I said... I didn't mean it..... I just.... I just want you to know that.... In a way, ever since we were young.... You were, I guess, my idol."

Adrian looked at his cousin. "Yeah. Your mother was just telling me about that," he said.

Leon looked at his mother wide-eyed, who just gave him an innocent smile, and he sighed, saying, "Yeah well.... Ever since we were little.... I always thought of you as some great person with your powers and everything.... And to tell you the truth..... I actually envy you, in a way."

"You shouldn't," Adrian said. "Without my powers, I'm just like you. And it's not like my powers are anything special. They do more harm than good most of the time anyways."

Leon sighed, then he got up and walked over to him, saying, "Maybe, but it's not your fault that they do more harm than good."

"I'm the one who has control over them. If I have them do more harm than good, then yes, it is my fault," Adrian said.

Leon laid a hand on his cousin's shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze, saying, "Don't blame yourself..... That is not the Adrian I know..... The Adrian I do know always tries his best, never gives up, and always does what's right."

Adrian smiled at his cousin. "Thanks, Leon," he said. "I appreciate that."
