"I'm going to make sure Leon's okay," Olaf said, feeling awkward around the others in the dining hall. He walked out and into the gardens, where he soon found Leon. "Hi, Leon!" he called cheerfully, waving one of his stick arms.

Leon looked at Olaf, then said, "Hey... What are you doing here?" He wiped some of his tears away, sniffling.

"I came to talk to you, because things were getting awkward in there," Olaf explained, sitting down. "Why are you crying?"

"Because I feel like an idiot.... I made Adrian feel like a freak! I shouldn't have.... I shouldn't have suggested we practice our sword fighting...." Leon said, looking at his lap.

Anna looked at Adrian, then she said, "You know Adrian... There were times when Leon was very young that he would get himself hurt one way or another."

"I appreciate that you're trying to make me feel better, Aunt Anna, but him hurting himself is way different than his cousin hurting him," Adrian said.

Olaf looked at Leon and frowned. "You're not an idiot. Not to me," he said.

Anna smiled softly, then she said, "Yes, but there were times that actually... He only did it to make you look. He actually looks up to you, Adrian."


Leon looked at Olaf, saying, "Really?"

"Really?" Adrian asked, looking at his aunt. "Why?"

"Yeah. I mean, you seem pretty smart to me," Olaf said.

Leon laughed a little, then he gave Olaf a hug, saying, "Thanks, Olaf."

"Because to him, you are the brave one, and the coolest kid anyone would ever know, and you're his cousin! He only wants to be strong, like you." Anna said, smiling softly at him. Twyla pulled back from the hug, smiling.

"You're welcome," Olaf said, hugging Leon back.

"Wow. I never knew that," Adrian said.

Leon smiled, pulling back, saying, "Geez, you're cold!"

Anna smiled, then she said, "Yeah. Whenever we're alone, Leon would always tell me how much he appreciates you, how much he respects you and everything else."
