I thought it was just a photo... do you mean the offical size? And that sounded troublesome... Therefore, good luck.

Actually, with my degree, it should be easy to get work, once I've got some more qualifications. Due to the internet, and recent developments therein, many magazines/newpapers have either moved entirely online or now have online branches in addition to their physical productions. Alongside those, we have many websites, such as BuzzFeed, that exist for the purpose of publishing articles, etc. Jobs like this didn't exist until recent years, so it's not possible to have much experience in them; which means if you're qualified it's easy to get the job writing or editing such articles for a number of different websites. This is all assuming we focus only on the journalism aspect of dealing with articles; if we take into account that I could be a writer for a TV show, or movies, or just writing books, or pamphlets, or doing freelance work online, or writing plays, or be a writer for video game plots, or do social media/communications, or perchance work in a library... well there's loads of possibilities. The trick is just making sure I have enough qualifications for them to want to hire me instead of the other guys.

Try entering writing competitions. :P That's where the real challenge lies.

If there were any competitions in these parts that could get me recognized, believe me, I would. Unfortunately, that's not the case, so the only writing competitions I enter are here on MLK, and I have won those quite a few times. That won't help me out too much, though. :P

Yes, you could try social media departments, or media communications, newspapers & magazines. I'm not sure what they look for in hiring, but I guess they will ask for a sample of your work. Try talking to your lecturers and seek job fairs. Publishing a book on Amazon is admirable. But if you wanna go pro, then you must take it to a reputable publisher & editor...

Well, in order to take a book to a reputable publisher and editor, you have to have money to pay them with. I don't have money. That's why I need a job. But I can't get a job until my resume is nice enough. There's nothing noteworthy on the thing right now except that I have a degree in the field. If I self-publish the book, and it makes some money, then I might be able to take it to some other publisher. I'm just thinking that if I have a published book, then I'll look better to future employers and they'll be able to acquire a sample of my work. Job fairs don't happen in my town, so I'd need money to go out of town to attend such a thing which leads me back to the lack of money at present... :P So finishing my book and getting internships are really my best bet for the time being.

Oh, and about the RP of ours, Kiki said she won't be posting until the day after tomorrow because of exams.

It is a pain. I wish my other one didn't expire last week after only having it for a month. It totally sucks, but it is what it is. :/ But thanks. :)

I see, KD. ;) I guess I'm too old-fashioned. :P Do we get to see the next big author in the making like JK Rowling or the some rising TV producer?

And thx for Kiki's answer! :D

My area manager just hinted massively that he wants to move me to another hotel in a different role. That's going to be an interesting conversation.

Hmm... I want to make a TLG AMV, but I can't figure out what song I'd use and I've already been on the computer for a while today. I guess I'll do it some other time. May get back to gaming soon then.

Almost halfway through the book. I need to stop and work on Math for the last fifteen minutes, though. I'll continue reading the book sometime later. :P
