Pixar makes (mostly) good movies but i'm not a huge fan of most of them.

I honestly like dreamworks more. Lower lows but higher highs.

Mine neither. But then, I have a special connection to the first Toy Story on account of my cousin so all other Pixar films can't compete now.

I'm actually a pretty big fan of Monsters, Inc. IDK if I've told anyone on here this (I kinda forgot until just now tbh) but before I had my Scar craze and was inspired to join this fandom, I actually really really liked Randall. When I was in like 8th grade I'd watch the movie and then pause it and go slow-mo through all the parts where he like changed color cuz I thought it was so cool.

I even have a few Monsters, Inc. fanfics faved on my FFn account still (I think they all involve him haha) and I was pretty excited when they brought him back in MU, even if he didn't play that much of a role in that movie. xD

So... yeah. If things had gone a bit differently five years ago I might've gotten involved in that fandom instead of this one. .____. lol

Lol no, you hadn't mentioned that, at least not in my presence. The movie is good, just isn't my favorite. Although I didn't particularly like Randall, tbh.

^ Ahhh, I see. Well, if I haven't brought it up in the group Skype chat I probably haven't brought it up anywhere else on here, lol. Like I said, I kinda had forgotten that that was a thing. But yeah, it could've easily gone the other way. It was the first movie where I really almost got into the fanbase and the last one I was obsessed with before TLK came along. It was pretty random, honestly, but... you know, there you go.

And I liked him for a lot of the same reasons I ended up liking Scar, I think. It was a pretty simple transition since both of them are disgruntled male employees/pride members/what have you that are resentful of x higher figure/brother/king, and will do whatever it takes to get the recognition they deserve and climb to the top of the company/pride, even if that means killing/kidnapping/manipulating other people. So not too surprising, I guess. Also I found his design pretty neat, like I did for Scar.

But yeah, that movie does have some memories for me in that way. xD It came out when I was a young kid as well so there's also a bit of nostalgia factor in it too.
