Don't you love when you see a new message on your inbox and get nervous thinking it's a response to a volunteer application you sent... and it turns out it's just your dad replying to you on a message he sent about animal videos.

Some parts of this episode are a bit boring, but I can't help saying it's one of my favs. Saturday Night Fever rocks. <3

Okay. Not much homework tonight. I just have to complete one more section for Microsoft Excel and read the rest of Act 2 in Julius Caesar. I might work on some Math, too, if I have the time and don't procrastinate.

This bothered me lol: show
When I see Youtube/other social media comments where people are just like "MAN, I wish I never grew up!"/"I don't want to ever grow up, it's scary!" all I can do is just sit there with utter confusion.

I mean... really? .___. You want to stay in/go back to a time where you're small, awkward, helpless and unable to change anything about your life at all? Where life is mundane and lonely and friendless and you have no choice in anything? Really? That's... weird. But alright. I guess people's experiences were different, or something. But that seems to be the consensus amongst not only myself but the people I know as well (including people much older than me).

I feel like I've brought similar things up in here before, but seriously, I don't get it. lol I especially hate it when people take it one step further and just go all crazy on every kid who wants to grow up like "LEL NO JUST WAIT A COUPLE YEARS, BEING ADULT IS HELL WORST EXPERIENCE OF LIFE!!1!! YOU'LL SEE!" I see this happen to random kids (usually young teens) every now and then, and given that I was in their shoes a few years back I naturally don't like it.

Like seriously, people. Why can't you just accept that not everyone's childhood was easy and filled with rainbows and unicorns? JFC. Just because you feel a certain way doesn't mean you need to push it on someone else. You have no idea how they feel/felt or what their life is like. -_____- Grrr.

Anyway I'll get off my soap box now. It's 4:30 AM almost and I still want to finish this piece... hmmm...

Why is it that all the interesting things to talk about are hidden under spoilers? lol...

Anyway, I kind of agree. I always attributed this phenomenon to the natural human tendency to want what one doesn't have. Lots of adults say they would rather be kids because they want what they had as children--few worries, lots of free time, close friends, having Mom cook supper... you know, those things. But it's equally true that kids want to be adults, because adults are more respected and can pretty much do whatever they want. Kids see how adults are able to do things that they can't and they think it will be great when they're able to do that thing.

All in all, I wouldn't say I would rather go back to being a kid. That said, I'm not happier being an adult, either. I think it's the same. When I was a kid, I had days that were so good I would jump around, pretty much unable to contain my joy. I also had bad days, some that were so awful, I would end up crying for hours without end. As an adult, I still have those good and bad days. It's just that the things that cause my good and bad days as an adult are much more "significant."

Of course significant is a relative term, but that's a topic for discussion some other day.

Why is everyone hating on that movie? :? It was actually better than I thought it would be. True, they could have done without some things (mainly a few of Gad's scenes), but it was still good. I don't know. I guess I'll never understand. :P

^Pixels. Every video I've seen on YouTube that has it has it in the Worst Movies of 2015, and I don't really understand why. :?

Aaaand more fighting. I'm so sick of my family being so dysfunctional. And it's my dad who instigated it as usual.
