I'm kind of in a ranty mood for some reason so just skip that if you don't feel like reading, lol.

When I see Youtube/other social media comments where people are just like "MAN, I wish I never grew up!"/"I don't want to ever grow up, it's scary!" all I can do is just sit there with utter confusion.

I mean... really? .___. You want to stay in/go back to a time where you're small, awkward, helpless and unable to change anything about your life at all? Where life is mundane and lonely and friendless and you have no choice in anything? Really? That's... weird. But alright. I guess people's experiences were different, or something. But that seems to be the consensus amongst not only myself but the people I know as well (including people much older than me).

I feel like I've brought similar things up in here before, but seriously, I don't get it. lol I especially hate it when people take it one step further and just go all crazy on every kid who wants to grow up like "LEL NO JUST WAIT A COUPLE YEARS, BEING ADULT IS HELL WORST EXPERIENCE OF LIFE!!1!! YOU'LL SEE!" I see this happen to random kids (usually young teens) every now and then, and given that I was in their shoes a few years back I naturally don't like it.

Like seriously, people. Why can't you just accept that not everyone's childhood was easy and filled with rainbows and unicorns? JFC. Just because you feel a certain way doesn't mean you need to push it on someone else. You have no idea how they feel/felt or what their life is like. -_____- Grrr.

Anyway I'll get off my soap box now. It's 4:30 AM almost and I still want to finish this piece... hmmm...

I can see where you're coming from completely, but honestly? I still wish I never had to grow up because I have absolutely no idea what to do with my life and not that much of a drive nor desire to do anything, but obviously I can't afford not to act anymore. It sucks feeling like you're never going anywhere and will probably get stuck with a life you hate because you just don't care much for anything when it seems like most other people have things they're genuinely passionate about. I've been thinking this my whole life and over the years the only thing that's changed is the fact that I need to take on responsibilities I don't truly care about now because I don't want to be a burden to anyone. Yeah, you have more choices but... what if you don't care about any of them?

Welp that ended up sounding much more depressing than intended. It really wasn't supposed to, Jesus Christ.

Maybe I should blame my friend for how I felt around him before. But, then again, I could blame my other friend for how I'm feeling now, but I haven't. In fact, quite the opposite: we've grown closer since then. I want to talk to her about my dream, but I'm trying to save my texts (I can't wait until Tuesday, when my plan renews and I can start texting whenever again) and she's way too busy today and probably won't talk about it with me. Oh well. I just have to sort this out on my own, I guess.

It's weird how many songs I used to listen to all the time I can actually relate to now. Also that I'm just now noticing that "Automatic" by Tokio Hotel is one of them.

Need to be careful not to post any Snapchats this evening and be careful what I post on FB. Lied to a few people that I was working this evening to get out of going out. I'm actually just chilling at home watching Doctor Who.
