People (no not just Elton Jon) who think that life is easier for me than it is other people somehow... I spent over five years practicing, remaining positive and generally working as hard as I could to overcome a lot of stuff in order to get to the point now where life is a bit more easier and comfortable for me.
I mean none of what I have achieved in life was ever handed to me on a plate, so the next time you wander how I have money to travel, or seem to have no problem talking to anyone any more etc... Maybe I and other people like me had to actually work to get to that point.

I understand life is hard but there's things you can do to try and make it a bit more bearable.

Give him a break, from what I saw it just sounds like he took what you said the wrong way. Can't exactly blame him, 'just be positive and try' can sound VERY condescending when you're depressed and frustrated. From experience trying to be positive seems physically impossible to do and whenever someone suggests it it just makes you more frustrated with your complete inability to do it.

I don't intend to argue with anyone really, it just seems really unfair to you because it'd likely upset you more seeing that. There's no need for this.
