Tali listened intently to Eon and Balius' conversation. Apparently they each knew of one another and Eon had more of a title than Tali originally thought.

"I suppose we owe you thanks then, considering you literally just saved us from certain death back there." Remarked Tali as Xandra approached.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're a big scary beast slayer. But that doesn't explain what you're doing here so conveniently?"

''I am looking for a chimera king, because they are rare and I have never seen nor fought any, only regular chimeras.'' replied Balius to Xandra. ''Faringheim is a huge territory, so finding one is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.''

Balius once again took a certain interest in Eon and glanced at him.

''Head-knight, are you stupid or what? I expected the famous Daryonese head-knight to be a little smarter than walking right into an earth wyrm hunting ground.''

''What the hell do you expect? I am a military genius and tactician, more experienced in the arts of warfare. It's not like I spend my time reading encyclopedias about monsters and how to kill or avoid them.'' replied Eon, somewhat annoyed.

"I do admit, that was a very poor choice. But you can't go around blaming people who don't have the same knowledge as you. Besides, it's not just his fault. I don't think we heeded the loremasters warning very well. To be fair, I've never faced a chimera before. Dragons and dremora, yes but not those hideous wyrms that you slayed." Tali responded, slightly defending Eon against Balius ignorant accuses.

"Instead of belittling us, oh great beast slayer. Why don't you join our little party and help us through the death trap? That way we can help you look for this chimera king and in return, help us through this god forsaken valley before we become earth wyrm food."

''Thanks for the offer, but no thanks I don't need help from a bunch of losers.'' replied Balius.

''Okay, this overpowered bully starts to get on my nerves. If you are trying to look for a fight, then look no further.'' said Eon enraged, as he drew his sword and pointed it to Balius.

''Sure, why not. In fact, I am eager to find out which of us is the most skilled swordsman. Fighting you has been one of my greatest dreams.'' replied Balius.

Before Eon and Balius could engage in a fight, Xandra got face to face with the hulking man and his giant sword, "How the hell are we a bunch of losers? Eon might be an asshole with a stick up his ass and Tali a dumb werewolf girl but I'm certainly no loser. You're the big oaf walking around in this hellhole, wasting your time with cheap entertainment like killing chimera."

Xandra backed off momentarily before practically shoving Eon into Balius' arms, "Go kick this bastards ass and show him what a real loser looks like."

Tali stood back, chuckling softly, "I'm not going to try ripping you two apart. In my opinion, this is a stupid place to have a battle, especially with so many dangerous chimera prowling about. But if you two need to face off to see who's got the bigger balls.. then by all means."

Balius looked surprised at Xandra, with a disgusted look on his face.

''Please do tell, what exactly is this annoying female creature that you travel with, and why do you keep it around? The fact alone that you haven't gotten rid of her just proves how weak you are. Because if I were exposed to her presence for too long, I'd literally slip into insanity.'' said Balius

''Honestly, I don't know myself why I keep her around as she is nothing but a pest and a nuisance to me, but for now I prefer to let things stay the way they are.''

''Very well then, let's cut the conversation short. We have a battle to fight.''

Eon and Balius stood in front of each other, ready to engage one another in battle.

"Not so fast." Said Xandra, looking disgusted between the two men, one more boorish than the next. Without any hesitation, she shifted back into her wolf form as they were about to initiate in battle. Taking advantage of the momentary distraction, she snuck behind Balius and chomped down hard onto his rear.

'That'll make him pay for being such an ass.'

In a quick outburst of shock and surprise, Balius glanced down to Xandra who chomped on his rear..

''What the hell? Get off me you damned mutt.'' he said, as he whacked Xandra far away into a wall with his mighty gauntlet.

Not liking what he just witnessed, Eon attacked Balius in a rage. Balius defended himself well, and Eon soon discovered that the beast-slayer possessed great physical strength, far beyond that of any ordinary human.

Xandra's whined in pain, her body crying from the sharp hit against the wall. Yet she wasn't going to let this scuffle keep her beaten down. 'Bastard, I'll kill him.'

Lurching forward off of the ground, the black wolf charged at him and leaped, catching a hold of his forearm in her mouth. Using rows of sharp canines, she bit down until she could practically feel blood oozing from his arm.

''Seriously, you don't know when to give up do you, crazy rabid little mutt. Just wait for your turn!'' said Balius.

Balius swung Xandra away from himself with all his strenth against a rock, making it collapse, before resuming his battle with Eon.

''Is this the best you can do, head-knight? I expected more from you.'' he said, after flooring Eon with his blade.

''No, I'm only just beginning.'' said Eon, as he got up slowly but surely.
