Tali and Xandra both stopped in unison as they were almost out the door, leading out to the village. Mirroring each others actions when they twisted around to see what Almond wanted.

Staring expectantly, Tali asked, "What is it?"

''Head North from here, and beware the guardian of the forest, I suggest you three avoid it. Well, that's all. kthxbye!'' said Almond as he walked back to his dwelling.

''He could've said that a little earlier. Oh well, screw that.'' said Eon as he headed North into the woodlands.

Tali nodded in agreement, "Yes he really could've.. whatever. Anyways, lead the way."

She fell into step a few paces behind Eon as Xandra reluctantly followed, falling back as much as she could. Together, the trio left the safety of the Elven city and traversed into the thick of the woods, heading north.

As they walked, Eon felt rather bored. He looked around at the gloomy forest to see if anything might interest him, but it was to no avail at all.

''I hope we're out of those stupid Woods as fast as possible, because it's rather boring here. But I guess doggy-girl isn't in a rush since she can sniff, pee, and poop al around here as much as she pleases.'' said Eon as he walked.

Xandra flattened her ears against her head, clearly annoyed with Eon. Thankfully she was in her wolf form or they'd be at each others throats within a matter of seconds. 'Or not at his throat but ripping it out....'

"Hey, I like these stupid woods. I find it peaceful, serene and plenty of other tastefully artistic words used to describe pretty forests. And I hope you're just talking about little miss pack mule back there. But when you hear the call of the wild you have to go. Maybe I should have brought some special diapers along? Although, just because I happen to be part werewolf, doesn't mean I act like one.." Replied Tali, quickly realizing her mistake and fixing it before Eon pointed it out.

"Except for when we met.. that was a first. Sorry about that, by the way."

''Thought so. I was almost about to bring it up. And nevermind that.'' said Eon as he walked.

Without warning the ground below them started to shake as if a massive being made it's way towards them.

''I suppose that must be that guardian thingy.'' said Eon as he looked around.

The ground began to quake and shake enough for Tali to fall on the ground, completely unprepared.

"God dammit." As she sat back up she heard Eon's mentioning of the guardian of the forest. "I think it would be in our best interest not to piss it off." Said Tali, looking around curiously as the trembling got louder and closer. "I hope it's not coming this way."

Just as those words slipped off of her tongue, a giant golem came smashing towards them.

"[censored] hell, get out of the way!", shouted Xandra, now a human, racing forward and pushing both Eon and Tali out of the way.

Eon got up, and noticed the golem peering down at him.

''Well.... Good afternoon, I suppose?'' Eon said, taunting the golem.

Immediately, the golem went for Eon and attempted to smash him with it's massive hand, but Eon used his elf-like agility to avoid it.

''This might be the therapy I need after walking through this boring place without anything special happening. You two, stand back while I deal with this thing.'' he said, as he drew his magic steel to prepare for combat.

Xandra backed off and stood away at a safe distance as Eon and the golem faced of in a not so epic battle.

Tali began waving her hands in the air, trying to get Eon's attention, "Just because you have some special boots that make you fast doesn't mean you're invincible! We shouldn't even be bothering the damn thing! Pocket your pride and let's retreat. All we need are the damn elves coming after us because we killed their pet golem!"

''Relax werewolf, I got this. By the time the elfies are here we'd be miles ahead anyway.'' said Eon as he engaged in the fight with the golem. ''Besides, this might be the perfect opportunity to test out those pair of boots.''

The golem tried to smash Eon into a bloody pulp, once again to no avail, as Eon proved too fast and agile.

''Some guardian you are. Is this the best you can d-''

Before Eon could finish his sentance, the Golem knocked Eon away against a tree as he let his guard down.

''Son of a b#tch!'' Eon said enraged, as he slowly got up on his feet again.
